Do we not all praise one God? It may be just how we chose to, that we differ.

Whether it be God, Allah, Buddha or Brahma, we rejoice in our Creator and live by his moral laws. We may worship through different rituals and celebrate through different festivals. But the tenets of all religions are the same: that we give thanks and honor creation, that good will ultimately be rewarded and evil ultimately punished and that we love our fellow man as ourselves.

Consider the Golden Rule of the major religions of the world. Do you see a similarity?

Judaism
Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself.
The Torah, Leviticus 19:18

Christianity
Do to others what you would have them do to you.
The Bible, Matthew 7:12

Islam
No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself.
Fortieth Hadith of an-Nawawi 13

Buddhism
Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful.
Udana-Varga 5:18

Hinduism
Do naught unto others which would cause you pain if done to you.
Mahabharata Veda 5:1517
